Some Comments on Using This Textbook
In this video, my coauthors, Marianne Meye Thompson and David Downs, and I introduce the second edition of Introducing the New Testament. We explain how our collaborative textbook prioritizes engagement with primary sources over scholarly debates, making it suitable for introductory courses, advanced study, and adult education. We also note that the book includes charts, maps, sidebars, and timelines to help students encounter the New Testament as an engaging collection of texts.
